On the way to Princeton, about 15 miles outside of Chico, I stopped to take this picture. Funny how one can be found standing impatiently in an Albertson's line or flipping off a driver slowing down the freeway traffic, and yet, just a short drive away, one can be at peace in such a wide expanse of freedom.
